Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Finance Domain Leader to join a major ERP transformation project. The Domain Leader will act as the business owner of the Finance domain within the ERP project. The role is not focused on ERP configuration, but on ensuring that the future ERP solution is aligned with the company's business requirements, finance processes and operational needs. The successful candidate will combine strong hands-on Finance expertise with experience in ERP implementations and the ability to challenge existing processes, define target processes and coordinate business stakeholders and Key Users.

Key Responsibilities Finance Process Ownership

 Take ownership of the Finance functional scope within the ERP transformation.

 Analyse and document existing As-Is finance processes.

 Define, challenge and validate the To-Be processes.

 Identify opportunities to improve, simplify or eliminate existing processes.

 Ensure that the future ERP solution meets the company's Finance requirements.

 Define and validate business requirements, business rules and functional specifications.

 Identify and assess functional gaps and contribute to the related business cases and decisions.

 Ensure consistency between Finance processes and their interactions with other business domains. Finance Expertise

 Bring strong hands-on experience in Accounts Payable (A/P).

 Have solid knowledge of General Ledger / General Accounting (GL) and Accounts Receivable (A/R).  Knowledge of Controlling is considered an advantage.

 Understand accounting dimensions, analytical accounting and reporting, including their links with controlling activities.

 Bring a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and end-to-end Finance processes.

 Contribute to improving process standards and ensuring consistent Finance practices.

ERP Transformation

 Participate actively in the ERP implementation as the Finance business representative.

 Participate in workshops, solution design reviews and functional decision-making.

 Validate that developments and configurations meet the defined business requirements.

 Work closely with the ERP implementation team and other business domains.

 Challenge proposed solutions where required and ensure that business priorities are respected.  Support functional governance and business decision-making.

Data & Migration

 Contribute to the identification and validation of Finance master data requirements.

 Support data cleansing activities and definition of data quality rules.

 Validate migration mappings and migrated Finance data.

 Support the business teams involved in data preparation and validation.

Testing & Business Acceptance

 Define and validate the Finance business test strategy.

 Validate test scenarios and acceptance criteria.

 Ensure that Key Users prepare and execute the required business test scenarios.

 Supervise User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

 Follow up on functional issues and anomalies and ensure appropriate resolution.

 Provide business validation/sign-off for the Finance scope.

 Participate in Go / No-Go decisions. Change & Business Adoption

 Support Key Users throughout the transformation.

 Help prepare operational procedures, work instructions and training material.

 Accompany Finance users during the transition to the new ERP solution.

 Support the business during go-live and Hypercare.

Required Experience & Skills Must Have

 Significant professional experience in Finance / Accounting, with strong hands-on expertise.

 Strong experience in Accounts Payable.

 Good knowledge of General Accounting / General Ledger and Accounts Receivable.

 Experience with analytical/accounting dimensions and reporting.

 Experience participating in at least one ERP implementation or transformation project.

 Ability to analyse existing processes and define target processes.

 Strong understanding of end-to-end Finance processes.

 Ability to challenge existing practices and proposed solutions constructively.

 Experience working with Key Users and business stakeholders.

 Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

 Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the Finance domain.

 Ability to remain effective in a complex and changing project environment.

 French and English.

Nice to Have

 Controlling experience.

 Experience with Finance data cleansing and migration.

 Experience with UAT and business acceptance activities.

 Previous experience as a Finance Process Owner, Business Project Manager, Domain Leader or Super Key User in an ERP project.
