Take ownership of the technical direction of a mission-critical investment platform used across trading, risk, analytics and investment operations.

You’ll join a global investment management firm, working on a data-intensive platform where engineering decisions have a direct impact on critical business operations across multiple asset classes.

This is a hands-on engineering role with scope to shape architecture, improve engineering standards and solve complex performance, reliability and scalability challenges across C#/.NET, SQL and Python.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design and development of scalable .NET solutions across the full development lifecycle.
• Shape architecture and technical approaches across critical investment platforms.
• Build high-performance applications supporting complex workflows and large data volumes.
• Improve code quality, observability, security, reliability and engineering practices.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust solutions.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong commercial experience with C#/.NET and SQL.
• Experience building enterprise-scale, data-intensive applications.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, performance and scalability.
• Experience with Python and/or Azure is beneficial.
• Ability to operate confidently with senior technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience working with complex or legacy environments is advantageous.

Contract Terms

• 6-month initial contract | Strong likelihood of long-term engagement
• €550–€650 daily rate
• Hybrid
