Drafter

About the Role We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drafter to support residential and commercial design projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical drafting skills, a solid understanding of construction documents, and hands-on experience using Chief Architect (preferred). The Drafter will work closely with architects, designers, and project teams to produce accurate, code-compliant drawings and revisions throughout the design and permitting process. Key Responsibilities Create and revise construction drawings for residential and commercial projects Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and details Translate design concepts, markups, and redlines into accurate drawings Ensure drawings comply with applicable building codes and standards Coordinate updates and revisions throughout project lifecycles Maintain organized drawing sets and version control Collaborate with internal teams to meet project timelines Qualifications Proven experience as a Drafter in residential and/or commercial projects Chief Architect experience preferred (or similar drafting software) Strong understanding of construction documentation and drafting standards Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively Comfortable working independently in a remote or hybrid environment Preferred Skills Experience with permitting and plan submission processes Familiarity with other drafting tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.) Knowledge of residential and commercial building systems This is a full time role Up to $8/hr 100% Remote
