The purpose of the Drafter, Land Infrastructure role is to support the development of a major land infrastructure projects in the WANT region in Australia. The role will be responsible for creating detailed design drawings for various land infrastructure projects, including subdivisions, roadways, drainage, water and sewer reticulation, earthworks, electrical and communication assets. We know the work we do is vital in assisting Aurecon's business globally. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’. Prepare and review detailed design drawings, plans, and specifications for land infrastructure projects using AutoCAD and other relevant software Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project requirements Ensure designs are compliant with relevant Australian standards, regulations and industry guidelines. Participate in design and drafting reviews to ensure quality standards are achieved Perform other duties as assigned by the project manager You will also need the following capabilities: Qualifications (Required) 5+ years of experience in drafting of civil infrastructure for mining/resources projects, or land Infrastructure Strong experience in documentation of mining infrastructure projects, as well as experience in design of earthworks, roads, pavements, car parks, signs and line marking, drainage and utilities. Proficient in AutoCAD and Microstation 2D (preferred), ProjectWise Good communication skills Strong understanding of Australian or NZ standards and regulations is preferred Knowledge or experience in using 12d and ProjectWise is preferred Diploma in Civil Engineering or other related training/certifications At Aurecon, we know every career adventure is unique.
