Driver Recruiter

JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the success of Action Resources by recruiting qualified drivers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and phone skills and will communicate with prospective drivers to inform them about the benefits of driving for Action Resources. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Meet weekly and monthly hiring goals by recruiting experienced drivers and owner operators Effectively informing candidates about Action and why they should join our team Determine if driver applicants are a fit for the company Contribute to building a positive team atmosphere among the recruiting team and the Action company Work with the processor to ensure that driver applicants meet all company requirements Additional duties as assigned EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: High School degree or equivalent required, college degree preferred Former transportation industry experience is a plus Strong decision-making skills are required Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written form Strong phone skills are required Sales and closing ability desired Ability to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships Ability to plan, organize and accomplish work in a timely manner
