Role Description

The Driver – Worksite & Employee Transport is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bucharest, Romania, with some flexibility for work from home when duties allow. This role is responsible for safely transporting employees between designated locations, worksites, and project facilities, as well as delivering materials or equipment as needed. Day-to-day tasks include planning routes, conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety, and complying with all traffic laws and company policies. The driver will coordinate schedules with project managers and office staff, provide courteous assistance to passengers, and report any incidents, delays, or maintenance needs promptly. The individual will also support basic administrative tasks related to transport logs, fuel records, and compliance documentation.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated truck driving experience and safe operation of commercial vehicles, including trucks used for worksite and employee transport.
  • Valid driving license with a clean driving record and strong knowledge of road safety regulations.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating routes, schedules, and worksite needs with team members and supervisors.
  • Customer service skills to ensure respectful, reliable, and professional interaction with transported employees and partners.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols, conduct routine vehicle inspections, and report maintenance issues in a timely manner.
  • Good punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail in maintaining transport logs and documentation.
  • Basic geographic knowledge of Bucharest and surrounding areas; experience in industrial or construction worksites is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours depending on project needs and to adhere to company policies on health, safety, and compliance.
