In the role of Digital Technology Business Relationship Manager - Central Europe, you will be the bridge between our business stakeholders and our global digital technology teams, ensuring seamless communication, collaboration, and successful implementation of digital solutions.

DT Business Relationship Manager (m/w/d) Central Europe

Location: Region Central Europe (Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Switzerland, Ukraine)

KEY responsibilities:

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Active member of the local Operating Unit leadership team.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders to understand their objectives, challenges, and technology needs.

  • Act as a liaison between business units and global digital technology teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Work with business and cross functional teams to define the strategic directional roadmap for your operating unit area focusing on adding value to the local operating unit businesses.

  • Management of local work councils for digital technology and direct supervision of DT resources in Germany

Solution Development

  • Collaborate with internal technology teams to design and develop digital solutions that align with business goals.

  • Keep up to date with emerging digital technologies and trends to enhance the organization's digital capabilities.

Communication and Reporting

  • Regularly communicate project updates, milestones, and risks to business stakeholders and executive leadership.

  • Prepare and present reports on the impact of digital initiatives on business performance.

Risk Management

  • Identify potential risks and issues related to digital projects and work with cross-functional teams to develop mitigation strategies.

  • Support the compliance teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience; MBA preferred

  • 15+ years of field technology experience

  • Build strong relationships with business leaders and frontline teams, listening actively and translating needs into clear, actionable solutions that drive measurable impact

  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills, simplifying complex concepts into practical insights that enable informed decision-making.

  • Collaborate effectively across functions, working with technical and non-technical teams to align priorities, assess options, and move initiatives forward.

  • Manage competing priorities with discipline and focus, ensuring the most valuable work is clearly defined, prioritized, and progressed efficiently.

  • Show business acumen and curiosity, understanding how field operations work and identifying opportunities to improve productivity, service quality, and customer outcomes.

  • Operate with independence and accountability, taking ownership of outcomes while adapting to a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Ability to travel up to 25%
