Dutch Speaking Senior Finance Manager

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join an international finance organization in Budapest. This is a senior-level opportunity where you can take ownership of statutory accounting activities, work closely with international stakeholders, and provide professional support on accounting matters related to Dutch and Belgian entities.

Your key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support statutory accounting and reporting activities for Dutch and/or Belgian entities
• Prepare and review annual financial statements in line with applicable local accounting requirements
• Manage reconciliations and adjustments between IFRS and local GAAP
• Support statutory audits and prepare the required financial documentation
• Contribute to month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities
• Handle accounting matters related to legal entity changes and other statutory transactions
• Support regulatory and statutory reporting requirements
• Act as a professional point of contact for Dutch and/or Belgian accounting topics
• Cooperate with international finance teams, business partners and other stakeholders
• Contribute to process improvements, standardization and efficiency initiatives

What we are looking for

• BSc or MSc degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• Around 5+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with statutory accounting and reporting
• Experience supporting Dutch and/or Belgian entities
• Solid knowledge of IFRS
• Knowledge of Dutch GAAP and/or Belgian GAAP is a strong advantage
• Strong Dutch language skills, including confident verbal communication
• Fluent English for everyday work in an international environment
• Strong understanding of financial closing, reconciliations and accounting processes
• Ability to work independently and cooperate effectively with international stakeholders
• SAP experience is an advantage
