This is a full-time position based in our Paris office (3 days per week in the office). About the Role As with all engineering roles at SightCall, this position requires strong technical skills, but we are especially looking for someone who cares deeply about the product, the users, and the business problems we are solving. You will work on mobile applications that play a key role in SightCall’s product strategy, especially for field technicians who need fast, reliable, and intuitive tools in real-world service environments. Your work will help users access expert knowledge, receive AI-assisted guidance, contribute field knowledge, and collaborate more effectively with their teams. You will contribute to the design, development, improvement, and maintenance of our mobile applications, with a strong focus on usability, reliability, performance, and product impact. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, Mobile Engineering, QA, and other technical teams to understand customer needs and transform them into high-quality mobile experiences. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing clean and maintainable code, but who is also excited by understanding how customers work, what field technicians need, and how mobile technology can solve real operational problems. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of mobile projects Build new features and applications that support SightCall’s product vision for field service and video intelligence Work closely with the Product team to understand customer needs, clarify requirements, and translate product goals into technical solutions Help create mobile experiences that are intuitive, reliable, and valuable for field technicians and enterprise users Contribute to the evolution of the new SightCall Expert mobile experience and related initiatives Help maintain and improve existing SightCall applications, including legacy apps where needed Collaborate with other mobile developers to ensure consistency, quality, and shared best practices Stay up to date with the latest Android, AI, AR, and mobile product innovations, and proactively suggest relevant improvements Contribute to architectural decisions, technical design, and code quality Optimize performance, reliability, usability, and maintainability of the codebase Help integrate and support AI-related capabilities within the mobile experience where relevant Drive development timelines by planning milestones, deliverables, and dependencies Participate in product and technical discussions around mobile strategy, platform evolution, and future innovation What We Are Looking For Experience 5+ years of experience in mobile development, ideally across both Android and iOS Strong experience building customer-facing mobile applications Experience in a startup, scale-up, SaaS company, or product-driven technical environment is a plus Experience working on complex mobile applications used in real-world operational contexts Experience with AI-enabled mobile features, AR, field service tools, knowledge applications, or productivity applications is highly desirable Experience maintaining and improving existing mobile applications over time Technical Skills Android Kotlin Java Git Rx Dagger Unit Testing iOS Swift Objective-C Git Unit Testing Strong understanding of mobile architecture and application lifecycle Ability to write clean, maintainable, testable, and scalable code Good understanding of mobile performance, reliability, and user experience constraints Nice to Have Coroutines SwiftUI Combine Redux or similar state-management patterns ARCore / ARKit AI / ML mobile frameworks Experience with camera-based mobile experiences Experience optimizing mobile performance and app stability Familiarity with AI-assisted development, on-device intelligence, or intelligent workflow features Experience working on applications used by field technicians, deskless workers, or enterprise users Soft Skills Strong product mindset and genuine interest in understanding customer problems Ability to balance technical quality with business impact and delivery Strong team spirit and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing environment Comfortable collaborating with people from different professional and cultural backgrounds Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving mindset Curious, proactive, and excited by new technologies Positive, hands-on, and solution-oriented attitude Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Languages Strong written and spoken English French is a strong plus, especially for the Paris office environment Why Join SightCall?
