Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Developer role based in Cairo, Egypt, with flexibility for partial work from home. The developer designs, develops, and customizes solutions within Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, including extensions, integrations, and reports that support core finance and supply chain processes. Daily tasks include analyzing business requirements, configuring application modules, writing and optimizing X++ code, and building integrations with other enterprise systems and services. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, performing impact analysis, participating in code reviews, and ensuring solutions follow best practices, security standards, and performance guidelines. The developer collaborates closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and QA teams to support implementations, upgrades, and ongoing application support.
Qualifications

• Strong experience developing and customizing Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O), including extensions, forms, classes, and data entities.
• Proficiency in X++, SQL Server, and related development tools (Visual Studio, Lifecycle Services, Azure DevOps or similar).
• Solid understanding of finance and operations modules such as GL, AP, AR, inventory, procurement, and production, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Hands-on experience with integrations and APIs (REST, OData, data management framework), and familiarity with Azure services used with D365.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices, including source control, unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and document solutions effectively.
• Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with ERP implementation or upgrade projects and Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 or related technologies are considered an advantage.
