Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role based in Katowice, with the possibility to perform part of the work from home. The Dyspozytor – International Transport Forwarder will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating international road transports, including route planning, vehicle allocation, and monitoring shipment status. Daily tasks include maintaining communication with drivers and clients, handling transport documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulations and internal procedures. The role involves negotiating transport conditions with carriers and customers, optimizing transport costs, and responding to operational issues as they arise. The person in this role will collaborate closely with other team members to ensure timely deliveries and high-quality customer service.
Qualifications
  • Practical experience in international transport dispatching or forwarding, preferably in the TSL industry.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple transports and priorities simultaneously.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build professional relationships with drivers, clients, and carriers.
  • Ability to work with transport management systems and standard office software; basic data entry and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of international road transport regulations and basic geography of European routes.
  • Proficiency in Polish and a good working knowledge of another European language (such as English or German) is an advantage.
  • Reliability, problem-solving skills, and readiness to make decisions in a dynamic operational environment.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model (office in Katowice and remote work) and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Completed secondary education; higher education in logistics, transport, or a related field is an asset.
