Role: Accountant

Priority Location: Philippines

Working Hours: 9AM - 4PM (Mon - Fri) EST (i.e. Night shift in Philippines)

Salary Range: $1500 - $1800 USD per month (The final offer is at the client’s discretion and depends on the candidate’s interview result, skills, and experience.)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain AR and invoices in QuickBooks
• Review billing calculations from internal systems
• Perform manual reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Follow up on payments and handle merchant queries
• Communicate with US merchants during EST hours
• Oversee general daily accounting tasks, maintaining clean, accurate, and up-to-date general ledger entries.
• Manage e-commerce sales accounting, settlement reconciliations, and payout processing specifically for Amazon and TikTok Shop channels.
• Raise, review, and process basic invoices for clients and vendors efficiently and accurately.
• Prepare, calculate, and record sales tax-related journal entries, ensuring accurate tax reporting across revenue channels.
  
  

Requirements

• 2-4 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in Excel and Google sheets
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Comfortable working night shift (EST)
• Philippines-based, reliable remote setup
• Driven and hungry to learn and grow with the company
• Ability to understand requirements and work towards them
• Solid hands-on experience managing general day-to-day accounting operations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
• Understanding of e-commerce platforms, specifically handling Amazon and TikTok sales tracking, fees, and settlement reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in raising, processing, and managing basic customer and vendor invoices with high attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of sales tax calculations, recording tax-related entries, and supporting tax compliance across sales channels.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience in c/ logistics / trade industries
• Experience with collections and disputes along with practical accounting and e-commerce finance operations
• Prior experience supporting US clients
• Knowledge of how to use AI is beneficial
