We are expanding into Argentina and looking for an entrepreneurial E-Commerce Operations Manager to help launch and grow our local operations.

About the Role

We're looking for someone based in Buenos Aires who understands the Argentine e-commerce market, particularly Mercado Libre, and can take ownership of building a local product resale operation.

Shipitor will handle international product sourcing, purchasing, and shipping. You will help identify profitable products, coordinate their importation and local fulfillment, and manage sales through Argentine marketplaces.

This is an opportunity to help build a business from the ground up, rather than simply manage an existing online store.

Key Responsibilities

• Research products on Mercado Libre Argentina and identify profitable import and resale opportunities.
• Analyze competitor pricing, product demand, sales potential, and profit margins.
• Create, optimize, and manage marketplace product listings.
• Coordinate international shipments, customs clearance partners, inventory receiving, and local fulfillment.
• Manage customer orders, inquiries, returns, and after-sales support.
• Track product profitability, inventory, sales performance, and operating expenses.
• Identify opportunities to expand into additional product categories and marketplaces.
• Help develop relationships with local merchants, suppliers, and fulfillment partners.

What We're Looking For

• Must be based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
• Previous hands-on experience selling physical products through Mercado Libre Argentina.
• Strong knowledge of Argentine e-commerce marketplaces and consumer purchasing behavior.
• Experience with product research, pricing, and inventory management.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Comfortable coordinating physical inventory and local logistics.
• Fluent Spanish; conversational English preferred.

Nice to Have:

• Experience running your own Mercado Libre store or e-commerce business.
• Familiarity with international sourcing, importing, or customs procedures.
• Existing relationships with Argentine distributors, fulfillment companies, or marketplace sellers.
• Experience with Amazon, Tiendanube, or other e-commerce platforms.

Compensation & Growth

We are initially looking for a part-time contractor, with flexible working hours and compensation based on experience.

We are open to performance-based bonuses tied to the profitability and growth of the operation.

As Shipitor expands in Argentina, this role has the potential to develop into a larger operational leadership position.
