E-commerce Product Specialist, Alibaba Sourcing

GAJAN Group Holdings is a holding company with eleven businesses across commerce, software and services, with entities in Mohali and Toronto. Four e-commerce brands, two B2B SaaS products, an AI operations platform, and more. The team is small. The work is real. Everyone here owns their function outright.

What This Job Is

You will own the product side of our four Shopify brands: what we sell, where it comes from, what it costs, and how it is listed. The core of the role is sourcing through Alibaba and Indian suppliers, negotiating landed costs, and turning products into listings that convert. You will be the person who knows every SKU, every margin, and every supplier by name. You will also run day-to-day order operations across our Shopify stores and Amazon: under management supervision to begin with, and independently once you have proven the function. Within a few months, orders in and orders out are simply yours.

What You Will Do

• Source products and suppliers on Alibaba and domestic channels: shortlist, sample, negotiate, and manage the relationship
• Own landed cost math: unit price, shipping, duties, and margin per SKU before anything is ordered
• Write and maintain product listings across our Shopify stores: titles, copy, images brief, pricing
• Run catalog hygiene: variants, inventory sync, discontinuations, seasonal rotations
• Manage daily order operations on Shopify and Amazon: processing, fulfillment coordination, returns, and customer disputes, supervised at first and independently as you prove it
• Track what sells and what dies, and bring the founder a monthly read on both
• Coordinate with our marketing and dev hires so product, page, and promotion move together

What We Are Looking For

• 1 to 3 years in e-commerce operations, product sourcing, or marketplace management
• You have personally sourced through Alibaba or managed import suppliers, or have adjacent experience and can prove you learn fast
• You can do margin math in your head and in a spreadsheet without being asked
• Working knowledge of Shopify admin: products, variants, collections, inventory
• Experience processing marketplace orders on Shopify, Amazon or similar, or proof you can own an operations queue fast
• Strong written English. Supplier negotiation and listings are written work
• Based in India, working IST hours

Bonus points for Amazon Seller Central experience, customs and import logistics into India or Canada, listing SEO, supplier quality control, or AI tools in sourcing research.
