What You Can Expect This role is responsible for the development and execution of medical education programs intended for Early Career orthopedic surgeons. This includes fellows, residents and surgeons in their first few years of practice. The role also supports reconciliation and continuous improvement of educational plans, content, calendars, and program assets across live, virtual, and digital learning experiences, including on-demand learning. How You'll Create Impact Supports the team in collaborating with key stakeholders to develop strategic medical education plans based upon identified needs. Develops curriculum related to the safe and effective use of Zimmer Biomet’s products and associated surgical techniques. Leads execution of didactic, cadaveric, mobile lab, virtual and large-scale training events. Assists in building the academic calendar by undertaking discovery with internal and external stakeholders, deploying a needs-assessment, and identifying suitable educational events that address the unique needs. Supports reconciliation of educational calendars, content plans, event deliverables, and program materials to help ensure alignment across stakeholders, timelines, and learner needs. Manages digital and printed content development for owned programs and events, including collaboration with vendors and internal team members to develop, revise, and maintain digital learning materials. Manages digital asset organization and maintenance for assigned programs, including version control, content accuracy, storage standards, and accessibility of approved materials. Supports development and deployment of on-demand learning experiences, including modular content, recorded education, and other digitally enabled learning solutions for early career audiences. Develops program communications, collateral, and learner-facing content to support awareness of educational events and digital learning opportunities. Manages budget for assigned events Tracks program materials, digital content updates, and asset-related deliverables to support accurate program execution and reconciliation. With direction, can perform competitive analysis related to medical education programs Assists team in assimilating and synthesizing information from various groups including marketing, field sales, customers, and other internal stakeholders to support program reconciliation and continuous improvement. Works with orthopedic tradeshow organizations to plan and execute industry side events. **This is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and may not necessarily comprise all of the "essential functions" for purposes of the ADA. What Makes You Stand Out Working knowledge of the medical device field, preferably orthopedics. Working knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Working knowledge of finance and budgeting. Excellent communication skills. Recognition of when additional support is needed and proactively seeks guidance Demonstrated potential for strong public speaking and presentation capabilities Problem solving capabilities demonstrated and the ability to work within ambiguity and navigate with confidence Highly self-motivated and manages change appropriately. Excellent computer skills using Word, Power Point and Excel. Working knowledge of digital asset management practices, including content organization, version control, and maintenance of approved educational materials. Ability to support development of digital content and on-demand learning resources for healthcare professional education. Strong project coordination skills with attention to detail across live, virtual, and digital educational deliverables. Physically able to lift 40 pounds and stand for extended periods of time. Must be comfortable working in a cadaver lab. Good understanding of competitive landscape, other companies and relevant industry knowledge Positive and solutions-oriented Your Background Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 years of relevant experience required Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of related experience preferred Experience working in orthopedics, adult education, and/or digital learning content development is preferred. Travel Expectations Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and frequently on short notice, including weekends. EOE/M/F/Vet/Disability Expected Compensation Range: $88k to $110k, plus target bonus
