This position is designated as a hybrid role based out of our headquarters near Portland, Oregon. The current expectation is for employees to work onsite four days per week, subject to change based on business needs. This in-office requirement may be adjusted at the discretion of the company.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The SOREL Ecommerce Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, measurement, and optimization of integrated digital marketing campaigns, with a primary focus on paid media creative operations and campaign analytics. This role serves as a critical connector across internal marketing teams, external agency partners, and content creators to ensure paid media initiatives are strategically aligned, operationally efficient, and performance driven.


The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills, analytical rigor, retail ecommerce experience, and digital marketing expertise with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across paid, owned, and brand channels. This role also provides generalist support across digital marketing functions and serves as backup support for campaign execution as business needs arise.


HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Paid Media Content Planning & Campaign Operations


  • Maintain paid media campaign calendars under the guidance of the ecommerce leadership team, ensuring alignment with key business priorities, promotional events, product launches, and integrated marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional media planning across paid media with consideration to brand marketing, email, social, ecommerce, and other owned channels to ensure a cohesive customer experience and messaging consistency.
  • Support paid media creative briefing processes, ensuring campaign objectives, audience targeting, messaging strategy, and performance goals are clearly communicated.
  • Support ecommerce influencer, creator, and content partner vetting processes, including alignment with campaign objectives, audience relevance, and brand standards.
  • Review and validate creative assets to ensure compliance with brand guidelines, channel requirements, and campaign objectives.
  • Coordinate campaign trafficking readiness and launch processes, ensuring assets, tracking, and operational requirements are completed accurately and on time.
  • Serve as a go-live quality assurance lead for paid media campaigns, proactively identifying and resolving issues before launch.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among internal stakeholders and agency partners throughout campaign lifecycles.

Ecommerce Media Measurement, Analytics & Performance Reporting


  • Maintain recurring campaign performance reporting across weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews.
  • Analyze campaign effectiveness and provide actionable recommendations to improve performance, efficiency, and customer engagement.
  • Partner with stakeholders to help measure the impact of creative content, messaging, storytelling approaches, and audience strategies.
  • Assist with ad hoc analyses to answer business questions and support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor performance trends across channels, creatives, audiences, and campaign objectives.
  • Support experimentation efforts, including creative testing, audience segmentation, and campaign optimization initiatives.
  • Translate performance results into clear, actionable business recommendations for cross-functional audiences.

Agency Partnership Management


  • Support day-to-day collaboration with paid media agencies and external partners.
  • Coordinate communication, deliverables, campaign timelines, and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain accountability for campaign execution deadlines and performance review schedules.
  • Assist with agency reviews, presentations, and strategic planning discussions.
  • Ensure agency recommendations align with business objectives, budget priorities, and broader marketing strategies.

Cross-Channel Digital Marketing Support


  • Provide generalist support across ecommerce digital marketing channels as business needs require.
  • Assist with campaign setup, QA, deployment, and monitoring across digital channels.
  • Support promotional campaign launches and integrated marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to process improvements that increase operational efficiency across the marketing organization.
  • Maintain documentation, workflows, and best practices to support consistent campaign execution.
  • Support content briefing and calendar management for the digital onsite experience to ensure seamless customer journeys across the digital landscape

YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in digital marketing, paid media, marketing operations, campaign management, or related disciplines.
  • Experience coordinating digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to coordinatemultiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with marketing agencies, external partners, or cross-functional stakeholder groups.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
