We have a global presence with offices in the greater Washington, D.C. area (USA), Frankfurt am Main (Germany), Montreal (Canada), and Lisbon (Portugal) through our partner company Aeconos Lda.
To support our continued growth, we are seeking economists with strong quantitative and analytical skills, as well as the ambition to further develop their careers in a dynamic international environment and strengthen our growing Economic Analysis and Evaluation department.
This position is hybrid and requires regular presence at our
Lisbon office .
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (depending on experience level)
Manage and support projects both on-site and remotely, including oversight of scope, timelines, and quality.
Contribute to client relationships, business development, proposals, technical reports, and subject-matter publications.
Support knowledge management and training activities.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally approximately 10% of the time is required .
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual skills, including experience with software such as R, SPSS, Python, or comparable tools.
Ability to translate research and analysis into practical policy recommendations.
Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and client management skills.
Excellent written and spoken English; additional language skills are an asset.
Experience in development cooperation, public policy, regulation, GIS/remote sensing, or advanced evaluation methods is an asset.

- Master's degree or PhD in Economics, Applied Economics, Econometrics, Finance, Public Policy, or a related field.
