【Responsibilities】

The individual will be responsible for development, design, quality, and processes for ECUs mounted around the steering wheel for Japanese completed vehicle manufacturers (J-OEMs).

■Design Specialist

・New planning and development related to safety features.

・Advanced development and mass production design of ECUs, and project management (primarily SUP.1, SUP.8, SUP.9).

■Design Quality Specialist

・Supporting mass production design projects, testing, and deliverable evaluation (primarily SUP.1, SUP.8, SUP.9).

・Auditing and assessment of ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO 21434 (Cybersecurity).

■Process Specialist

・Tailoring and continuous improvement of development processes for each project.

・Coordination and process alignment with global sites.

【Specifically】

・Investigation of global trends, and planning, design, and prototyping of PoCs (Proof of Concept).

・Proposing new products to J-OEMs, technical negotiation, Design Review (DR), and project management.

・Design, prototyping, and evaluation of systems, software, and hardware.

・Creating requirement specifications, DRBFM (Design Review Based on Failure Mode), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), and EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) evaluation.

・DR, process audits, and system development audits/assessments with suppliers (Tier 2 and Tier 3).

・Patent acquisition.

・Creating quality, audit, and assessment reports for projects.

・Establishing ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 processes through collaboration with overseas sites.

■Required: Meets all of the following

・3+ years of mass production experience in ECU development or quality departments within the manufacturing industry

(For managerial positions: 3+ years of management experience)

・Flexible and broad thinking with strong communication skills

・A mindset that resonates with the company's vision and is willing to spare no effort in realizing it

■Preferred

・Experience in ECU development and mass production at an automotive manufacturer or Tier 1 supplier

・Proficiency in English for business purposes (conversational ability and understanding of cultural differences)

・Knowledge and implementation experience with ISO 26262, ISO 21434, and ASPICE

Required: Intermediate English

Required: Class 1 Standard Driver's License
