Our engineers are vital to the innovation and digitalization of BMW Group's driving machines, production, sales and banking processes, and you could be part of our evolving teams. What awaits you You will work in an exciting environment alongside internal and external feature teams, following the Agile Working Model. You will be responsible for managing projects related to the onboarding of external partners for new vehicle projects and model series, while coordinating both internal and external stakeholders. You will drive the further development of EDI processes for international BMW plants. You will advise business departments on process design and serve as the primary point of contact for all EDI-related topics. You will take ownership and actively drive projects within the scope of Future.EDI, PKT and the cloud migration initiative. Together with the team, you will ensure the stable and reliable operation of our EDI system. What should you bring along University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field At least 3 years of experience on a similar role Proven knowledge of automotive logistics processes Proven knowledge of EDI and/or ideally SAP Practical experience in operating production-critical systems Knowledge of VDA format standards (e.g., VDA4984, VDA4987, VDA4985, VDA4986) Ability to create and read mapping specification Experience in supplier/transport service provider onboarding Knowledge of OFTP2 Nice to have: knowledge of Kafka/Agathe and JSON, experience in a cloud environment (AWS) Excellent English verbal and written skills German communication skills will be a plus What do we offer?
