Role Description As an Editorial Board Member at Path-iQ, you will contribute to the strategic direction and quality of editorial content related to digital pathology, AI in healthcare, and diagnostic workflows. On a day-to-day basis, you will review and provide feedback on articles, case studies, white papers, and educational materials, ensuring scientific rigor, clarity, and relevance to the pathology community. You will collaborate with other board members to propose topics, refine content guidelines, and uphold editorial standards aligned with Path-iQ’s mission and audience. This is a remote, volunteer role that offers flexible engagement, opportunities for thought leadership, and the chance to help shape the conversation around the future of pathology.
Qualifications

• Strong background in pathology, laboratory medicine, or related biomedical field, with familiarity or interest in digital pathology and AI-assisted diagnostics.
• Experience in scientific or medical writing, editing, or peer review, with the ability to evaluate content for accuracy, clarity, and impact.
• Knowledge of clinical workflows, histopathology practices, and diagnostic decision-making, especially in oncology or cancer-related pathology.
• Comfort with digital tools for remote collaboration, such as cloud-based platforms, shared document environments, and virtual meeting software.
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to provide constructive, timely editorial feedback.
• Commitment to ethical standards, evidence-based practice, and non-discriminatory, inclusive communication in all editorial work.
• Prior editorial board, journal review, or content advisory experience is beneficial but not required.
• Advanced degree (e.g., MD, DO, PhD, or equivalent) in pathology, biomedical sciences, or a closely related discipline is highly preferred.
