Position Summary
We are looking for a Designer with 3 to 5 years of experience who is confident, self-directed, and takes genuine pride in the quality of their execution. This is a hands-on production role working within an established brand design system, producing high volumes of CRM and digital communications assets across multiple markets at pace. Your job is to work within it with precision, consistency, and craft.
The right person understands the brief, asks the right questions, produces work that is clean and build-ready, and takes ownership of their output before it leaves their desk. Collaborate with the Senior Designer and contribute actively to the quality of the team's work. If you are a capable, driven designer who finds satisfaction in doing high-volume production work exceptionally well, this role is for you.
Position Responsibilities
Production & Execution
- Produce high-quality design work across the full range of CRM and digital communications output including EDMs, push notifications, in-app messaging visuals, market variations, and resizes, working within the established brand design system and template framework.
- Execute briefs accurately and efficiently, maintaining visual consistency and brand integrity across every asset and every market without needing repeated direction on the same brief.
- Adapt design across multiple market variations within tight template constraints, applying the right adjustments for different markets while staying firmly within the brand system.
- Maintain clean, well-organised design files throughout every project, including version control, correct naming conventions, and complete handover packages that the HTML team can build from directly without a follow-up call to explain them.
- Design responsively within Figma using the master component library, ensuring all assets are built correctly within the established component system and are ready for automation and handover without structural rework.
- QC your own work thoroughly before handover, checking for accuracy, consistency, correct application of brand guidelines, and completeness of the asset package.
- Manage your own production queue effectively, keeping work moving at the pace the account demands without waiting to be prompted.
- Explore and integrate AI tools into your creative workflow where they improve the speed or quality of your output, staying curious about how emerging tools can support the account's production needs.
Brand & Quality
- Work within the brand design system with precision and discipline, understanding that consistency of application across a high-volume account is as important as the quality of any individual piece.
- Challenge yourself within the constraints of the template, looking for ways to bring craft and considered thinking to every brief rather than treating execution as a mechanical task.
- Raise any concerns about a brief early, whether around design feasibility, brand application, or missing information, so issues are resolved before they reach the HTML team.
Collaboration & Studio
- Collaborate actively with the Senior Designer, contributing to the quality and momentum of the team's output.
- Work closely with copywriters and HTML developers to ensure assets move through the production workflow smoothly, completely, and on schedule.
- Capable of keeping briefs moving forward and making considered production decisions independently when the Senior Designer is unavailable.
- Read briefs critically and raise questions around scope, design requirements, or market variations early, so the team can align before production begins.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different time zones, managing your own workload with enough autonomy that remote briefs move forward without constant follow-up.
- Provide clear status updates on work in progress and flag capacity or quality issues early so the team can plan around them.
Required Experience & Skills
- 3 to 5 years of professional graphic design experience with a strong focus on digital and CRM communications.
- Experience within an agency, studio, or in-house marketing team serving consumer electronics or technology brands is a strong advantage.
- A portfolio that demonstrates digital production work at volume, with clear evidence of accurate and consistent execution within a defined brand system and template framework.
- Demonstrated ability to work across different creative formats and briefs with consistent quality, maintaining your craft whether you are designing an EDM, a push notification, or an in-app visual.
- Strong proficiency in Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Exposure to AI-assisted design tools including Adobe Firefly, generative image, or automation is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in Figma is essential, with the ability to design responsively within a master component library, contribute to automation through component-based workflows, and use Figma for design system documentation and governance.
- Solid understanding of email design best practices including how design decisions translate into HTML email builds, mobile responsiveness, and platform-specific rendering considerations.
- Familiarity with how Adobe Campaign v8 handles email templates, personalisation, and conditional content is a strong advantage.
- A clear and structured approach to file management and asset handover, with the discipline to deliver complete, well-organised packages every time.
- Strong command of English for internal communication and collaboration across a multi-market, multi-timezone team environment.
- A diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field is an advantage, though equivalent professional experience and a strong portfolio will be considered equally.
