Are you interested in marketing and communication in an international healthcare environment? Join the EHA Foundation and support the Hematology Clinical Trials Center (HCTC) with practical marketing and outreach activities. This internship focuses on translating existing materials into clear, usable content and supporting outreach to researchers, national societies, and other stakeholders. A significant amount of preparatory work is already available (including website content, outreach materials, and a LinkedIn profile). You will build on this foundation and help turn these assets into clear communications and visible output. This is a hands-on internship in which you will contribute directly to ongoing activities, while also having the opportunity to propose and develop your own ideas. During this internship, you will: Review and improve website content for the EHA Foundation and HCTC. Support the creation of social media content. Help develop short communication materials such as newsletters, updates, and outreach messages. Translate existing documents (e.g. brochures and draft texts) into clear and concise content. Contribute to small communication campaigns (e.g. HCTC awareness or trial support topics). Support outreach to researchers, national societies, and networks. Contribute to the development of the Foundation engagement approach. Support communication related to the HCTC Review Committee. You will work closely with internal teams, including PR/Marketing, and gain exposure to different parts of the organization. What we offer: An internship within an international and mission-driven organization. The opportunity to contribute to projects supporting clinical research in hematology. A dynamic working environment with colleagues from diverse backgrounds. Hands-on experience in marketing, communication, and outreach. Guidance and supervision, with room to take ownership of your work. A hybrid working model (office based in The Hague). An internship allowance of €775 gross per month (based on a full-time internship). Only candidates who are registered at an Educational Institute and live in the Netherlands will be considered. If you are a non-EU/AA national, a valid work permit for the Netherlands is required. Employment will be subject to the dissolving condition that the employee provides the employer with a valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG) within eight weeks of the commencement date of their employment. This is a work placement (meewerkstage) and is not suitable for thesis-only internships. Availability to join us for min. 4-6 months. You are currently enrolled in an HBO or WO program in marketing, communication, or a related field, preferably in you final year. You have: Strong writing skills (clear and concise English). The ability to translate complex information into simple messages. A structured and organized way of working, with the ability to prioritize. A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks. The ability to work comfortably in an international and academic environment. You bring: A basic understanding of marketing and communications. Familiarity with content channels (website, social media, newsletters). An interest in healthcare, research, or non-profit organizations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Basic awareness of AI tools (e.g. for drafting or structuring content).
