Electrical Asset Manager - Renewable Energy / Energy Efficiency - Remote - Sweden - 55-65 000 SEK + Potential car allowance
Role: Electrical Asset Manager
Location: Flexible within Sweden, preferably southern Sweden, with national travel
Contract Type: Permanent
Working arrangement: Remote / Site visits
Salary: SEK 55,000–65,000 per month
Our client, an established technical services company, is looking for an Electrical Asset Manager to support the reliable operation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure across its national customer portfolio.
This technical specialist role combines practical electrical expertise with strong coordination and administration skills. You will work with local delivery teams to ensure electrical assets are maintained consistently, meet contractual requirements and support customers’ operational continuity.
The Role
You will provide technical oversight for electrical infrastructure across customer facilities, particularly UPS systems, standby generators and continuity of power supply. Working across a national network, you will translate customer requirements into clear actions for local operations and maintenance teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the management, operation and maintenance of electrical assets across multiple sites.
- Providing technical guidance on UPS systems, backup power and electrical reliability.
- Coordinating with local teams to ensure service delivery meets national contract requirements.
- Reviewing electrical documentation, maintenance records and technical procedures.
- Supporting compliance with applicable electrical standards and customer requirements.
- Identifying maintenance gaps and opportunities to improve asset reliability and availability.
- Supporting preparedness for power interruptions and prolonged operation independently of the grid.
- Visiting customer facilities to assess technical conditions and support local delivery teams.
About you
You have a strong electrical background and practical experience in operations and maintenance. You understand how technical facilities work in practice and combine that knowledge with structured documentation, clear communication and effective follow-through.
We are looking for:
- Experience maintaining or managing electrical infrastructure in industrial, commercial or other technical facilities.
- Strong knowledge of electrical standards, technical requirements and documentation.
- Experience with UPS systems, standby generators and backup power arrangements.
- The ability to coordinate activities across multiple teams and locations.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- A practical approach to problem-solving and a focus on reliable service delivery.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites throughout Sweden.
You may be an electrical power engineer or an experienced electrician who has progressed into technical coordination or asset management. Practical experience and depth of electrical knowledge are more important than a specific educational route.
An operations and maintenance background is preferred, although candidates with relevant construction or installation experience will also be considered. BAS-P and BAS-U qualifications are not required.
What’s on offer
- A monthly base salary of SEK 55,000–65,000, depending on experience.
- Flexible location within Sweden, with much of the work carried out remotely alongside site visits.
- Potential eligibility for a company car benefit, subject to business travel requirements and company policy.
- The opportunity to influence electrical reliability across major national customer accounts.
- A technically varied role supporting critical infrastructure and evolving customer needs.
Security screening
The successful candidate must meet the security screening requirements associated with relevant customer assignments. Screening may involve the employer, its customers and, where applicable, the Swedish Security Service.
