Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer with extensive experience in the entire electrical design cycle of military systems. This role involves conducting and supporting the development of electrical power systems requirements, analyzing, designing, developing, integrating, and testing electrical systems for military products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and support the development of requirements for electrical power systems for military products.
• Analyze, design, develop, integrate, and test electrical power systems.
• Participate in trade studies, analysis of alternatives, and capability analysis.
• Test and evaluate electrical systems with a team of engineers.
• Develop test fixtures and prototypes for diagnosing or testing specific components.
• Create and maintain cable diagrams and schematics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of electrical systems hardware.
• Provide technical support to other teams as needed.
• Interact with customers and vendors to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• 5-15 years of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer.
• Proficiency in electrical system design, including power system design.
• Experience with Altium for design purposes.
• Skilled in cabling and integration.
• Testing and evaluation capabilities.
• Experience in low voltage and automation is preferred.
• Familiarity with military and defense systems is preferred.

Work Environment

This position offers remote work with the requirement to be onsite for 1-2 months for integration and testing. The role involves collaboration with a diverse team and interaction with customers and vendors to ensure the successful development and integration of electrical systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $170000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
