Electrical Design Engineer F/M/X

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer (LV) to join our team in Brussels. You will lead the design and sizing of low-voltage electrical installations for complex tertiary and industrial projects, with a strong focus on CANECO BT and technical compliance.

🔥 Your Responsibilities:

• Design and size LV electrical installations
• Perform cable sizing, protection, selectivity, voltage drop and short-circuit calculations using CANECO BT
• Develop single-line diagrams, electrical plans, calculation notes, BoQs and technical specifications
• Carry out lighting studies using DIALux / DIALux EVO
• Ensure compliance with IEC standards, RGIE and applicable regulations
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and participate in design reviews
• Provide technical support during commissioning and mentor junior engineers

🎯 Your Profile:

• Master’s degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering
• 8+ years of experience in LV electrical design and sizing for tertiary and/or industrial buildings
• Mandatory strong expertise in CANECO BT
• Good knowledge of IEC standards; knowledge of RGIE and Belgian regulations is a plus
• Experience with DIALux, AutoCAD and/or EPLAN
• Good understanding of LV/MV networks, switchboards, UPS, generators and protection systems
• Fluent French and professional English
• Dutch is a plus
• Strong analytical, communication and coordination skills
