YOUR ROLE

• Maintaining validation documentation;
• Designing and executing mechanical, electrical, and environmental tests for data transmission cables;
• Coordinating purchasing processes;
• Coordinating cable and innovation investments;
• Coordinating technical specifications and documentation;
• Leading cable development, design, and continuous product improvement initiatives;
• Implementing and verifying customer requirements within internal cable testing procedures;
• Leading advanced development projects related to cable technologies;
• Reviewing the product lifecycle from initial concept and prototyping through to serial production;
• Maintaining, controlling, and creating M-specifications for cables and bulk materials;
• Creating, monitoring, and updating Versigent part number records for cables and materials;
• Planning and implementing actions to minimize risks and prevent potential issues;
• Collaborating with all departments involved in the development and production of automotive components;
• Collecting, updating, and sharing lessons learned and experience from previous projects;
• Adhering to quality management systems and following Health & Safety (H&S) rules and procedures in daily work;
• Effectively scheduling and managing work, prioritizing tasks, reporting performance to the manager, and ensuring the timely completion of assigned tasks;
• Providing technical support to production plants;
• Performing other duties and tasks assigned by the supervisor related to the role.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• M.Sc. Eng. Degree – preferably Electric, Chemistry, Material Engineering or related;
• Understanding of data systems – cables, connections, EMC shielding, etc.;
• Very good command of English (spoken/written);
• Ability to travel internationally would be an asset;
• Driving license “B” preferred;
• Experience in Microsoft software;
• Ability to work as a team member.
