This is a subcontract opportunity for qualified electricians, ideally working as an Electrician and Mate team , with experience in domestic rewires, upgrades, and electrical installations within void social housing properties. We're looking for reliable subcontractors who want consistent weekly work, organised workloads, and strong weekly earnings without constantly chasing the next contract. What's on offer: Average weekly earnings between £1,200 – £1,800 Up to 12-months of work Price work or day rate available (to be agreed) Immediate start Weekly pay Long-term, consistent workload Planned diary and allocated work CIS or Ltd Company payments available All materials supplied Domestic social housing works Void property rewires and electrical upgrades The role: You'll be responsible for carrying out full and partial rewires within void social housing properties, ensuring all installation work is completed to a high standard and in line with current regulations. Works may include consumer unit replacements, installation of new circuits, fault rectification, testing and certification of completed works, and preparing properties for reoccupation. This role requires a professional approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to deliver quality work within programme timescales. Requirements: Qualified Electrician 18th Edition 2391 or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification desirable Previous domestic rewire experience Experience working within social housing desirable Electrician and mate team preferred Own van and tools Public Liability Insurance Ability to complete certification accurately Evidence of CIS or Ltd Company status required This is an excellent opportunity for experienced subcontractors looking for stable, long-term work on a dedicated Void Rewire Programme , with consistent weekly earnings, supplied materials, and the support of an organised operational team.
