Electronic Data Interchange Consultant

EDI Axway TSIM Developer / Consultant | Germany | Remote/Nearshore

We are looking for an experienced EDI Axway TSIM Developer / Senior EDI Consultant / Technical Lead for a 1-year contract supporting EDI/B2B integration projects for an automotive environment.

📍 Location: Remote/Nearshore – must be willing to travel to Stuttgart, Germany occasionally for meetings

⏳ Duration: 12 Months

💼 Experience: 5+ Years

🇩🇪 German: Business fluent / Negotiation level

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in EDI/B2B integration and support
• Strong hands-on experience with Axway TSIM
• Experience with SAP PO/PI and SAP Integration Suite / CPI / CI
• Strong knowledge of EDIFACT, ANSI X12, VDA and Odette
• Automotive EDI messages: DELFOR, DELJIT, DESADV, INVOIC, ORDERS
• EDI mapping and structured data: XML, XSLT, IDoc, JSON, CSV
• Communication protocols: AS2, OFTP2, SFTP, HTTPS, SOAP, REST APIs
• Good understanding of SAP MM, SD, Logistics and Finance processes
• Experience with trading partner onboarding, monitoring, troubleshooting and production support
• Knowledge of API-led and hybrid integration architectures
• Automotive industry / supplier integration experience is highly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Develop and support EDI integrations using Axway TSIM
• Design and optimize EDI mappings and interfaces
• Monitor message flows and resolve production issues
• Configure trading partner communication and onboarding
• Handle incident/problem management and root-cause analysis
• Prepare technical specifications, mapping documents and solution designs
• Support testing, partner certification, go-live and production activities
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, business teams and external partners

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
