We are looking for an experienced Electronic Product Care Manager to take a leading role in managing and improving existing electronic products and systems throughout their lifecycle.In this position, you will work at the intersection of electronics, embedded systems, engineering and product management. You will be responsible for coordinating technical activities, resolving product-related challenges and ensuring that released products continue to meet expectations regarding quality, safety, performance and reliability.
The role involves close collaboration with several departments, including Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Product Management, Service and Global R&D. We are looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, can navigate a changing environment and has the confidence to make decisions and move activities forward independently.
Your Responsibilities
As Electronic Product Care Manager, you will lead and coordinate product care activities together with a cross-functional team of hardware, firmware and software engineers.You will oversee several parallel activities, ranging from technical investigations and product improvements to component availability and supplier-related changes. An important part of the role is to establish priorities, allocate resources and ensure that activities progress according to agreed timelines, budgets and quality expectations.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include
- Lead and prioritize product care activities for released electronic products and systems, considering customer impact, safety, compliance, urgency, business risks and available resources.
- Coordinate engineers across hardware, firmware and software, ensuring clear responsibilities, effective collaboration and timely delivery.
- Plan and follow up on technical activities, resources, timelines and budgets, from initial investigation through implementation, verification, release and closure.
- Investigate field failures, customer complaints, production-related issues and recurring defects, driving root-cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage challenges related to electronic component obsolescence, shortages and supplier changes, working with relevant departments to identify and qualify suitable, cost-effective alternatives.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies and resource constraints, taking appropriate action and escalating issues when necessary.
- Monitor performance through relevant KPIs, including issue resolution times, outstanding activities, recurring problems, delivery performance and product quality.
- Communicate progress, technical decisions, risks and recommendations to both engineering teams and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by introducing more efficient ways of working and making effective use of data, automation and AI-supported tools.
Your Background

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- At least five years of professional experience within electronics, embedded systems, product development, product care, sustaining engineering or a similar technical area.
- Experience leading cross-functional and multicultural teams, preferably within a matrix organization.
- Strong analytical skills and experience investigating complex technical issues, assessing risks and implementing corrective actions.
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management, engineering change processes, configuration management, verification, validation and technical documentation.
- Experience planning and prioritizing multiple activities while managing resources, budgets and urgent technical matters.
- Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical challenges and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Professional proficiency in English.
