What You’ll Accomplish: Design and build advanced test rigs for electrical and mechanical characterization of quantum devices Develop meticulous test plans and protocols for validating device performance Conduct experimental validation and characterization of electronics systems to meet stringent performance requirements for quantum hardware Collaborate with device designers and electronics engineers to improve test coverage and ensure compatibility with emerging quantum chip architectures Critically evaluate testing methodologies and propose improvements for efficiency and accuracy Document test procedures, results, and findings for reproducibility and knowledge sharing
