Email Marketing Specialist

We are looking for an experienced email marketing specialist to own our complete email marketing function and drive a qualified pipeline for our sales team. Role Overview This is a hands-on ownership role. You will be responsible for diagnosing our current email marketing performance, building an execution road map, and managing the complete email marketing pipeline from database management to automation, nurturing, demo generation, and revenue contribution. Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end email marketing strategy and execution for carriers, freight brokers, shippers, and logistics prospects. Build and optimize outbound, inbound, nurture, customer, win-back, and event-based email campaigns. Develop automated workflows for lead nurturing, demo follow-ups, onboarding, product adoption, upselling, and customer retention. Manage audience segmentation based on ICPs, fleet size, company type, buying stage, and engagement. Monitor and improve email deliverability, sender reputation, inbox placement, and database health. Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to support campaigns and product launches. Create weekly and monthly performance reports with clear recommendations and next steps. Continuously test subject lines, messaging, CTAs, automation flows, and customer journeys to improve performance. Success Metrics (KPIs) You will be expected to improve and report on: Qualified MQLs and SQLs generated. Demo bookings from email campaigns. Sales pipeline influenced by email marketing. Customer win-back and re-engagement performance. Open Rate, CTR, CTOR, and Conversion Rate. Email deliverability and inbox placement. List growth and database quality. Marketing-attributed revenue and ROI. Required Experience 3+ years of B2B SaaS email marketing experience. Hands-on expertise with HubSpot, Klaviyo, or similar enterprise email marketing platforms. Strong knowledge of CRM management, lifecycle marketing, automation, lead nurturing, segmentation, and A/B testing. Experience building scalable email programs that generate qualified sales pipeline. Ability to independently diagnose problems, create execution plans, and deliver measurable business outcomes. Preferred Background Experience working with a reputable B2B SaaS, Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain Technology company. Understanding of trucking, freight brokerage, logistics operations, or TMS software is a plus. Experience collaborating closely with Sales teams to support enterprise pipeline generation. Portfolio Requirement (Mandatory) Candidates must provide a genuine portfolio demonstrating measurable business impact, including: Real case studies they personally owned and executed. Email automation and nurture workflows. Pipeline contribution (MQLs, SQLs, demo bookings, opportunities, and revenue). Improvements in deliverability, Open Rate, CTR, CTOR, conversion rate, customer engagement, and retention. Supporting dashboards or analytics validating the reported results.
