We’re looking for a Mid-Level Content Marketing Specialist to take ownership of content marketing for our growing WordPress plugin business.
The main focus of this role will be creating and publishing high-quality blog content that increases organic traffic. You’ll research keywords, identify valuable content opportunities, write useful articles, and continuously improve our existing content.
You’ll also support outreach and partnership campaigns with bloggers, YouTubers, affiliate marketers, and other companies in the WordPress ecosystem.
We’re not looking for someone who simply completes assigned articles. We want someone who can research opportunities, suggest new content ideas, build a clear content plan, and take ownership of execution.
🌍 Work Type: Remote
🕒 Time Zone: We operate in GMT+3 and require at least 4 hours of overlapping working time with our team each day.
🔧 What You’ll Be Working On:
- Conducting keyword research and identifying valuable content opportunities related to WordPress, plugins, affiliate marketing, and our target audiences
- Planning and maintaining a practical content calendar
- Writing, editing, and publishing high-quality SEO-focused blog articles
- Creating content briefs, outlines, titles, meta descriptions, and internal linking plans
- Updating and improving existing articles to increase rankings, organic traffic, and conversions
- Reviewing competitors, search results, and industry trends to discover new content opportunities
- Monitoring content performance through Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Planning and executing outreach campaigns with bloggers, YouTubers, WordPress companies, and affiliate marketers
- Building relationships for partnerships, backlinks, product reviews, and content collaborations
- Supporting product launches, feature announcements, landing pages, email campaigns, and other marketing content
- Helping produce documentation, video scripts, social content, and other supporting materials when needed
- Using AI-assisted workflows to improve research and content production without compromising quality
- Most importantly: bringing fresh ideas and taking ownership of our content marketing direction
✅ What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in content marketing, SEO, or digital marketing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Hands-on experience with keyword research and SEO content creation
- Experience writing blog articles designed to increase organic traffic
- Understanding of search intent, on-page SEO, internal linking, and content structure
- Ability to turn technical or complex topics into clear, engaging, and useful content
- Experience with SEO and analytics tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or similar platforms
- Ability to research topics independently and verify information accurately
- Experience with blogger outreach, backlink campaigns, partnerships, or digital PR
- Ability to propose, plan, and execute content strategies with minimal supervision
- A proactive mindset and willingness to suggest new topics, formats, campaigns, and growth opportunities
- Comfortable working with WordPress and publishing content through the WordPress editor
Bonus: Previous experience working for a WordPress plugin, theme, hosting, or SaaS company
