As an Embedded Intelligence Analyst, you will be supporting a 24/7 intelligence operation and will be responsible for identifying, investigating, and assessing threats and trends impacting our client’s platform, operations, strategy, and brand reputation. Although minimal, this position is subject to viewing graphic content. This is a fully remote role based in the Australian Western Standard Time zone , working standard business hours from Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday, with the schedule rotating on a monthly basis. This is a fixed-term position, running through to the end of July 2027. Essential Functions / Responsibilities Use all-source intelligence (including alert feeds, traditional and social media, and in-house sources) to monitor security incidents and trends within the client’s areas of operation and locations to assess the likely impact on staff, assets, operations, events, and reputation. Support the client’s trust and safety function to monitor and respond to issues impacting the rehearsed procedures. Maintain visibility on employee movements and their proximity to notable incidents and events, advising accordingly through required reporting methods. Participate in training and drills to rehearse incident preparation and response SOPs. Support internal stakeholders with ad hoc reporting on geopolitical developments, scenario planning, forecasts and other related topics. Research and analyse a wide range of information to create insightful analysis in accordance with strict deadlines, including presenting and incorporating relevant data and visualisations. Respond to urgent official requests for action on behalf of the client, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. Conduct all-source investigations into people and events to identify risk indicators, establish timelines, and support operational decisions. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to interpret, organize, and visualize data with high-level competency in MS Office and Google Workspace tools or Notion Workspace, plus preferred experience with analytical software, OSINT tools, or mass notification systems (Navigator, Alert Media). Ability to determine how geopolitical and security threats could impact private sector operations, travellers, and sites. Ability to identify threatening language, utilize OSINT and social media investigative techniques, identify trends, and think ‘outside the box’ when developing solutions. Excellent research skills with ability to rapidly digest, evaluate, and synthesize large quantities of information from diverse sources while maintaining excellent attention to detail. Strong analytical flair with ability to provide rigorous, creative insights into complex situations and assess security implications for business operations. Strong personal initiative with ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver solutions under minimal guidance while maintaining quality standards. Bachelor’s degree in International Security, Intelligence, Risk, Geopolitics, or other related disciplines; or equivalent professional experience. Master's degree preferred. At least 1-3 years' experience in an intelligence or customer-focused role in geopolitical risk, corporate security, government, law enforcement, or similar due diligence investigations. Fluent in English (written and verbal). Additional language skills are preferred.
