EMEA Security Trade Compliance & Customs control By means of Security Trade Control and Customs knowledge and Skills 1. Protect and Contribute the Business 2. Support Operations & Project under Business Operations 3. Develop Team & Members to pursue sustainable abilities STCC – Strategical Trade Compliance & Customs o Drive process stabilization within CENV and make sure that our STC performance or way of performing is in line with Business ops Annual goal. o Analyze the current process and potentially advise on improvement or weak points. Custom law control /Duty cost control o Correct Item classification drives directly Canon’s Group profit, which means that applies the correct duty rates and make sure the influences on cost of sales in saving the cost , Incorrect item classification could have legal consequence. o The target and goal is to ensure the 3PL report applicable duty costs of the periodical customs correct declaration to customs, concerning the monthly transaction in line with Canon’s expectations(Duty reconciliation). o Performing internal duty reconciliation or studying the external customs environment and Analyzing the customs letter, look for the possibility to minimize the duty payment or fine. Item Set up HS Classification of Canon Products o Learning & managing daily product classification and revision of classification on a regular basis. o Give advice to all Canon Product Teams concerning correct item data setup to allow for appropriate choice of HS code for classification – and informs countries on any changes in item classification. o In charge of daily product classification, review of classification, acting as coach for MDM-team concerning product capturing in PDH and product teams. Company Project & Department Initiatives Involvement o During involvement and contribution on company projects & Department Initiatives: key is to have good alignment with the respective team for trade legal requirement and in correspondence with project plans and project schedules and avoid possible delays. o Proactively collect the information what kind of company project will be related to our department task and look for the area how much and which support we can do for the company project. Process Installation & Stabilization o Design the process to minimize the workload by using automation, new tool or etc. o Develop Information Shelf to be able to keep and upgrade our knowledge continuously. Lead the Team & Develop the members o As a Co-Ordinator, Observe how Specialist and Manager works by themselves and react to any parties, Ask any questions whenever have any uncertainty.
