FTE: 1.0 Shift: Day Schedule: Mon-Fri Position Summary The Emergency Preparedness & Safety Coordinator provides operational support to both the Emergency Preparedness and Environmental Safety teams. Typical work includes entering, tracking, and pulling data from various sources; develop and publish multiple reports; policy research; code research; project coordination and management for department initiatives; and management of the contract review and evaluation process for the team. Responsibilities Participates in the development and review of policies and procedures, leads and/or contributes to department quality initiatives and programs, and manages updates and training for the organization Executive On Call program and schedule. This position requires technical skills, organization, attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive and privileged information. The nature of work may require travel and some non-standard work times to support CBU in evaluation of their local needs. Requirements High School Diploma required Associate degree preferred 1 year of experience working in a safety, emergency management, project management or healthcare setting required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams required Why MultiCare? Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $20.27 - $29.16 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
