Job Role Are you an inspiring leader with a passion for developing people, driving performance and creating positive social impact? We're looking for an Employability and Wellbeing Team Leader to join our growing Pluss team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead, motivate and support a team of Coaches and Specialists delivering high-quality employment, skills, health and wellbeing services across the South West. As an Employability and Wellbeing Team Leader, you'll play a critical role in supporting the Regional Manager to embed a high-performance, quality-focused culture that enables both colleagues and participants to achieve their potential. You'll provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and performance management while ensuring contractual targets, quality standards and customer outcomes are consistently achieved. You'll work closely with your team to provide guidance, challenge and support, helping them deliver outstanding services to individuals facing barriers related to health conditions, disabilities, wellbeing challenges and complex life circumstances. Through regular one-to-one meetings, team engagement activities and performance reviews, you'll develop capability, maintain high standards and create an environment where colleagues can thrive. This is a varied and rewarding leadership role that combines people management, service delivery, quality assurance and stakeholder engagement, allowing you to make a meaningful difference to both customers and colleagues. Travel and occasional overnight stays will be required. Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week Contract: Permanent Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate and develop a team to achieve performance, quality and customer outcome targets. Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews and team meetings to drive engagement and development. Ensure contractual KPIs, compliance requirements and service standards are consistently achieved. Manage performance effectively, recognising success and addressing underperformance where required. Champion best practice, continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery Build productive relationships with employers, partners and key stakeholders to maximise opportunities and outcomes. Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion across all aspects of service delivery. Skills and Experience Experience of leading remote and geographically dispersed teams Strong coaching and mentoring skills with evidence of developing team capability and performance. Experience of conducting performance reviews, caseload reviews and quality assurance activities. Experience working in a target-driven, performance-focused environment. Knowledge of the employability, recruitment or employment support sector. Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills. Competent user of Microsoft 365 and other digital technologies. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region. Desirable Knowledge of motivational interviewing, strengths-based approaches or solution-focused coaching Knowledge of the employability industry and/or Knowledge of the recruitment industry Ability to analyse performance data and use management information to drive improvement.
