Salary Range: $55,000.00 To $63,000.00 Annually Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States for NCCPA as NCCPA will not sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas. As the Employee Engagement & Learning Specialist , you will be responsible for coordinating and enhancing the employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle, including onboarding, professional development, employee engagement, wellness, recognition, and internal communications. Reports To: Senior Manager of Human Resources Who We Are National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is the only certifying organization for physician assistants in the United States. Established as a not-for-profit organization in 1974, we are dedicated to assuring the public that board certified PAs meet established standards of clinical knowledge and cognitive skills upon entry into practice and throughout their careers. All U.S. states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. territories have decided to rely on NCCPA certification as one of the criteria for licensure or regulation of PAs. Location: NCCPA is a hybrid work environment with our headquarters located in Johns Creek, Georgia. NCCPA has determined that the telecommuting status of this position is hybrid, which means that employees in hybrid positions are allowed to split their work hours between working remotely and working onsite at the NCCPA headquarters. The duties of this position require that the candidate report on-site to the Johns Creek headquarters, at minimum, on a weekly basis and live within the commutable distance. NCCPA has defined commutable distance as within the State of Georgia and within 85 miles of ground transportation, one-way between an employee’s primary residence and the NCCPA headquarters in Johns Creek, Georgia. You will… Design and coordinate a welcoming and effective onboarding experience, including new hire orientation, resources, agendas, and learning pathways. Develop and support initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, connection, culture, and retention across NCCPA’s hybrid work environment. Coordinate employee recognition, appreciation, wellness, and engagement programs, including service awards and other employee-focused initiatives. Support the annual employee engagement survey, employee check-ins, and action planning based on employee feedback. Coordinate and facilitate learning and professional development programs, including workshops, webinars, lunch and learns, and required organizational training. Maintain training calendars, attendance, completion records, and other learning-related documentation. Evaluate learning and engagement programs through surveys, assessments, feedback, and program metrics. Partner with managers, subject matter experts, and committees to identify employee and organizational development needs. Research training vendors and serve as a resource for employees and managers seeking professional development opportunities. Develop and maintain employee-facing HR communications and content across the intranet, SharePoint, newsletters, announcements, and other communication channels. Hard Skills You Will Have Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management , Organizational Development, or related field. Experience in lieu of education will be considered as well. At least four years of progressive experience in employee development, engagement, training, people operations, human resources, or a related field. Working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance fundamentals. Experience facilitating and/or coordinating both in-person and virtual training and evaluating training options and alternatives. Experience with HRIS and LMS systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Traliant, or similar platforms. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software. Soft Skills You Will Bring Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on details. Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. A collaborative and approachable style that allows you to build positive relationships with employees, managers, leadership, and external partners. A customer-service mindset and genuine interest in creating a positive employee experience. Sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Curiosity and creativity when identifying ways to improve employee learning, engagement, and connection. Extra Skills You Can Bring Along Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field. Experience supporting employee engagement initiatives, onboarding programs, or workplace operations. Training or HR-related specialized credentials. Knowledge of adult learning approaches, theories, and curriculum development.
