Employment Lawyer

Sharp Tudhope Lawyers have an exciting opportunity for an employment lawyer to join our busy litigation team.

We are looking for someone to join us on a full-time basis, with flexibility for part-time arrangements for the right candidate. We are open to remote candidates who would be willing to occasionally travel to our Tauranga office for mediations/hearings as appropriate.

We are looking for someone who

• Has at least 5 years' PQE specialising in employment law.
• Knows their way around employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, workplace policies, disciplinary matters, performance management matters, redundancy and restructuring, workplace health and safety matters, and a broad spectrum of other employment related matters.
• Is a team player with great communication skills. You will be working closely alongside another employment lawyer.
• Has excellent document drafting skills and attention to detail.
• Has excellent analytical and practical problem-solving skills.
• Is good at building relationships with new and existing clients.
