Energy Budget Specialist

The Energy Budget Analyst I role is responsible for the daily tasks associated with the company’s customer budget and energy assistance programs. This individual works with the Budget and Energy Assistance Supervisor and colleagues to ensure the customer budget plans and state energy assistance funding programs are administered properly. This position is customer-facing and will often collaborate with various internal departments to ensure an elevated level of customer service.

What you'll do:

• Process and update internal budget log requests and complete budget program setups documenting accounts accordingly
• Actively participate in “One Call Resolution” phone queue assisting customers for efficient customer service and workflow
• Renew and review customer budget plans within program guidelines
• Review customer budget plans quarterly using the Midstream tool and notify customers of the updated 12- month payment
• Contact past due budget customers and Auto Pay decline customers by phone and dunning notices
• Apply Energy Assistance Benefit payments to customer accounts accurately
• Complete Energy Assistance customer consumption reports and assist with audits and state program refunds
• Submit delivery invoice and delivery ticket information to energy assistance programs as required for benefit payments
• Performs other related duties as assigned

What you bring:

• Five (5) years of customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Able to work and manage fast paced environment and strong phone/verbal skills
• Employee who prefers team collaborative environment will flourish
• Ability to multitask
• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening

The hourly rate for this position is $20.54 - $25.67 per hour.

This role will be eligible for overtime pay once scheduled work week hours are met.
