Job Description:

Role Summary:

The Engagement Manager, Real World Solutions is responsible for leading the successful delivery of assigned Real-World Evidence (RWE) and Real-World Data (RWD) engagements from scoping through final delivery. Serving as the primary day-to-day client lead, this role translates client business questions into actionable project plans, coordinates cross-functional teams, manages scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables, and ensures high-quality execution. The Engagement Manager combines project leadership, client relationship management, analytical judgment, and oncology and life sciences knowledge to deliver meaningful insights while supporting account growth and the continued development of OneOncology's Real World Solutions capabilities. This position reports to the VP of Life Sciences Data Strategy and supports the continued growth and expansion of Real World Solutions within OneOncology.

This is a full-time remote position. Remote candidates located within the United States will be considered. Nashville-area candidates may work in a hybrid capacity from our headquarters.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead assigned RWE/RWD engagements from discovery and feasibility through study setup, execution, analysis, and final delivery, ensuring alignment with client objectives, scope, timeline, and quality expectations.

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact for assigned engagements, building trusted relationships and maintaining clear communication regarding project status, decisions, risks, and next steps.

  • Translate client business questions and project objectives into structured workplans, analytical approaches, milestones, deliverables, and cross-functional execution plans.

  • Direct cross-functional project teams across Data & Analytics, Clinical, Research, Product, and other functions, establishing clear ownership and driving accountability for deliverables.

  • Manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, resource needs, risks, and changes, escalating material issues while recommending practical mitigation strategies.

  • Lead project governance, including kickoff meetings, status meetings, agendas, executive-ready updates, decision documentation, action tracking, and follow-through.

  • Review and shape client-facing reports, presentations, data summaries, and other deliverables to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and alignment with the client's strategic questions.

  • Support pre-sales and scoping activities, including feasibility assessments, requirements discovery, proposal development, solution design, and coordination of inputs for statements of work and contracting.

  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships by understanding evolving customer needs and connecting those needs to OneOncology's real-world data and evidence-generation capabilities.

  • Support scientific dissemination activities, including development of abstracts, posters, white papers, manuscripts, and conference presentations, as appropriate.

  • Provide day-to-day guidance and coaching to Real World Solutions Specialists, helping strengthen project management practices, client readiness, and domain knowledge.

  • Contribute to development and continuous improvement of Real World Solutions methodologies, project management standards, tools, templates, and service offerings.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, Epidemiology, Business, Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or related field.

  • 4-7 years of relevant experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, consulting, life sciences, health services research, clinical research, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience leading client-facing projects or engagements involving multiple cross-functional workstreams from planning through delivery.

  • Experience developing project plans, managing scope and timelines, identifying risks, and coordinating complex deliverables across internal and external stakeholders.

  • Working knowledge of real-world data sources such as EHR/EMR data, claims, registries, or other healthcare databases and familiarity with RWE/RWD concepts and methodologies.

Preferred

  • Experience in oncology, pharmaceutical strategy, healthcare analytics, real-world evidence, or health services research.

  • Experience supporting proposal development, feasibility assessments, statements of work, or other pre-sales and commercial activities.

  • Experience developing client-ready presentations, reports, data visualizations, scientific materials, or executive-level status communications.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver clear, client-ready presentations and recommendations.

  • Collaborative, customer-focused mindset with the ability to coach junior team members and contribute to a high-performing team environment.

  • Ability to operate independently and effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
