Introduction

Gaza Food Project is a volunteer-run solidarity campaign supporting Palestinian-led community kitchens and grassroots projects across Gaza. We’re building a global network of partners (influencers, movements, networks, chefs, businesses, organisations, creators etc.) to amplify the campaign and grow our fundraising efforts. To scale this, we need people who can do thoughtful outreach via email, LinkedIn and Instagram/FB and bring the right partners into our network.

The Volunteer Role

As an Outreach & Partnerships Volunteer, you will:

• Identify and contact potential supporters (influencers, chefs, movements, networks, businesses)

• Send outreach messages via email/DMs using our templates (with an individualised, human touch)

• Follow up respectfully and respond to questions from interested contacts

• Track conversations and progress in a shared spreadsheet so the team stays coordinated

• Existing relationships with influencers, networks, food spaces, cultural venues or NGOs are highly appreciated

Time & Collaboration

• Time: flexible, at least 2 hours/week, fully remote

• You’ll collaborate closely with our Engagement & Community lead and the wider coordination team.

• Feel comfortable writing clear, respectful messages and following up

• Can represent the campaign with care, credibility, and consistency

• Are organised enough to track outreach and keep momentum

• Deeply care about Palestinian liberation and supporting Palestinian-led community initiatives in Gaza
