Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Python Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python programming, web frameworks, database management, and cloud-based application development. You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python. Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices. Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance server-side applications. Integrate third-party services, APIs, and databases. Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices. Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues. Implement automated testing and participate in code reviews. Ensure application security and data protection standards are followed. Monitor application performance and support deployment activities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3+ years of experience in Python backend development. Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming. Experience with backend frameworks such as Django , Flask , or FastAPI . Strong understanding of RESTful API development and integration. Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL , MySQL , or SQL Server. Hands-on experience with ORM frameworks like SQLAlchemy or Django ORM. Familiarity with Git version control systems. Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS , Azure , or Google Cloud Platform . Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes . Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Familiarity with message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Redis. Experience in microservices architecture and distributed systems. Understanding of authentication and authorization standards (OAuth2, JWT).
