What we offer

  • Meaningful product ownership – take responsibility for the continued development and direction of DORS Automation, a solution actively used on drilling rigs.
  • Broad technical and business exposure – work across software development, industrial automation, product strategy, sales, customers and aftermarket support.
  • Real operational impact – develop automation that helps simplify drilling operations, improve efficiency and reduce the risk of manual errors.
  • Influence over future development – identify improvements, new use cases and opportunities to expand DORS across additional rigs and applications.
  • Experienced technical environment – collaborate with a team of software and automation engineers working across software, PLC and HMI technologies.
  • Structured onboarding – NOV onboarding plus an approximately two-week departmental introduction covering products, PLC/HMI practices and software-development standards.
  • Some longer-term workplace flexibility – the role is expected to begin primarily from the Oslo office; the Hiring Manager indicated that hybrid working can be considered once the person is established in the role and team.
