The Challenge: We're looking for an Engineering Director to lead our Patient Health Companion organization, a key initiative transforming Doctolib into a daily health companion , enabling everyone to manage their health and wellbeing proactively . You'll oversee 4 engineering teams and their managers, including our flagship Health Companion for Parents of young children, which aims to revolutionize how we support parents to care proactively for their children's health and wellbeing. As a key leader of one of France's most downloaded apps , you'll build and scale multiple engineering teams creating innovative, personalized healthcare solutions that millions rely on daily. You combine technical excellence with strategic vision and have a passion for creating technology that transforms lives. Core qualifications: Leadership excellence: 5+ years of engineering management experience, including managing managers and staff engineers across diverse technical domains Team building: Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain exceptional engineering talent Technical depth: Strong foundation in software engineering, distributed systems, and architecture, with the ability to guide technical decisions across mobile and backend systems Strategic vision: Ability to translate business objectives into technical roadmaps and align engineering efforts with company strategy Healthcare passion: Genuine interest in healthcare innovation and improving patient outcomes through technology Growth mindset: Track record of scaling engineering organizations while maintaining culture and quality User-centricity: Deep empathy for users and commitment to building products that address their needs Bonus points for: Experience building consumer health products or working in healthcare technology Background in AI/ML systems, recommendation engines, or content platforms Track record of launching and growing successful mobile applications Experience working with medical professionals or in regulated environments If you're passionate about using technology to transform healthcare and excited about building and managing high-performing teams, we want to hear from you.
