Engineering Lead

About the Role

Lead an engineering team building an AI context platform for data and analytics workflows. The team is developing tools that help users understand how AI agents use business data, identify quality issues, and improve the context that supports better results.

What You'll Do

• Lead the team responsible for the context platform and its ongoing development.

• Set technical strategy, review designs, and contribute hands-on to engineering work.

• Manage and support engineers, set a high bar, and help the team do its best work.

• Recruit and hire strong engineering talent.

• Help address challenges in debugging agent reasoning, structuring business context, balancing human input with automated improvement, and integrating with AI-enabled workflows.

What We're Looking For

• At least 6 years of software engineering experience, including 3 or more years managing software engineering teams.

• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering technical projects.

• Experience setting technical direction, reviewing architecture and designs, and contributing code directly.

• Experience recruiting engineering talent.

• Experience shipping AI or machine learning products, or building context platforms, with the ability to investigate agent reasoning and data flows.

• Authorization to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range is $221,000 to $295,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Location

This is a hybrid role, with in-office work two days per week in San Francisco, California. Candidates may also work from New York City or relocate to enable regular in-office presence.
