Immerse yourself in a Monday-Friday Co-Op session, that will run from January to June (it is expected students will take this time off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).


This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

What you will do:


  • Co-ops at Pratt & Whitney work on challenging, meaningful, and impactful projects across our business. We’re looking for students with an engineer’s curiosity, an explorer’s heart, and a perfectionist’s grit to help us build the future of aerospace.
  • Whether supporting Mature Commercial Engines, our industry-leading Geared Turbofan engines, Military Engine programs, Operations, or Business Support functions, the objectives of our program are to help you to develop an understanding of our industry, our company, its operations, and how each discipline and department contributes to the success of our products and customer partnerships.
  • While you benefit from on-the-job training and practical experience, you are expected to contribute fresh ideas and participate as a productive member of the department. Your growth as a professional and the difference you make will be on display every day.
  • English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English



Qualifications you must have:


  • Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program in an applicable field of study Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Civil and Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

ESTO provides dedicated support by eliminating quality notifications, escapes, works stops and enabling producibility and delivery of legacy and new parts, assemblies, modules, and engines. ESTO covers all engine programs and part families, enabling engine deliveries, first piece reviews, first article inspections, analysis automation, process certification. ESTO also supports the Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) initiative in Operations. Technical disciplines in ESTO include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Product Definition, and Manufacturing Engineering.

Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.
