About the Role We’re seeking Remote Contract Mandarin Video Interpreters to join our dynamic team. If you’re fluent in English, and Mandarin, have a passion for helping others, and value professionalism and accuracy, this role is for you! As an interpreter, you’ll play a vital role in bridging communication gaps while providing a reliable, unbiased, and empathetic experience for those you assist. What We’re Looking For Must-Haves: Fluency in English, and Mandarin. A dedication to delivering courteous, accurate, and professional interpretation services. Strong communication and organizational skills. Bonus Points: Prior experience as Video-Remote-Interpreter (OPI) (is a plus, but not a dealbreaker!) Getting Started To ensure the highest quality of service, here’s what you’ll need to complete during onboarding: English Proficiency Test: Achieve a “technical proficiency” rating (level 3 or higher on the ILR scale). Medical Terminology Assessment: Pass an online test covering medical terms, anatomy, and physiology. Mock Interpretation Session: Successfully pass a live evaluation. Background Check & Security Screening. Sign an Independent Contractor Agreement and confidentiality commitment (including HIPAA compliance). What do you need to submit?
