What you’ll be doing...
As an Engineer II, you will join a dynamic team responsible for managing the MTU/MDU build of new in Houston TX. The role focuses on managing and driving vendors to complete projects and auditing their work enroute to opening the sites for sale to new customers. You will also be responsible for interacting with property owners, conducting site surveys, and developing creative solutions to allow for a broader build pipeline. Your day to day tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Managing construction activities across multiple properties simultaneously.
- Conducting site surveys (feasibility studies).
- Interfacing with vendors and property owners via virtual and face-to-face meetings.
- Assisting vendors with troubleshooting during build activities.
- Conducting quality audits (in person live & post install).
- Escalating issues to management with recommendations included.
- Financial management of assigned projects.
What we’re looking for...
You are well versed in telecommunications and thrive under tight deadlines. You are a team player and can work collaboratively across teams to achieve organizational and program goals.
You'll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
- Wireless network in-building construction experience.
- Demonstrated success in managing vendors, contracts, and fiscal targets.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, oral/written communications skills, and organizational skills.
- FUZE SPM, ESA, Minerva, PO Module, and FIM Lite PO expertise
- Google Suite experience.
- Attention to detail, sense of urgency.
- Ability to be innovative and develop solutions to challenges using critical thinking capabilities.
- Technical aptitude with computers to navigate tools.
