EN&Korean Research Interviewer & Summary Writer (Online)

Project Background

One of our VIP clients is conducting a large-scale market research project to better understand the needs, preferences, and usage habits of consumers across different countries and regions. The findings will be used to further optimize and improve the client's B2C platform products.

Role Description

The EN&Korean Research Interviewer & Summary Writer (Online) role at GienTech is a part-time, remote position focused on conducting structured online interviews and producing clear, concise summaries of findings.

Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing interview guides, and conducting video or phone interviews in a professional and empathetic manner. The role also involves organizing collected data, identifying key themes and insights, and writing summaries or short reports for internal teams or clients. The interviewer will collaborate with project managers or researchers to align on objectives, ensure data quality, and meet deadlines. This position requires consistent online availability during agreed-upon hours and adherence to privacy, confidentiality, and ethical research standards.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to build rapport with participants and manage inquiries professionally.
• Proficiency in market research and research methodologies to design, conduct, and interpret interviews and surveys.
• Excellent communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and Korean, to conduct interviews and prepare accurate summaries.
• Comfort with remote work tools and online communication platforms, with reliable internet access and appropriate equipment.
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to synthesize information into concise, structured reports.
• Experience in social research, user research, or customer insight roles is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines.
• Relevant education or training in fields such as social sciences, business, communications, or a related discipline is an advantage.
