Enterprise Account Executive - Digital Healthcare

Altera Digital Health | Remote, United States

About the Role

Are you a driven enterprise sales professional with a passion for healthcare technology and a track record of winning new business?

Altera Digital Health is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to join our Ventus team and help expand our presence across the US healthcare market. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional who thrives on building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and closing complex enterprise deals.

You’ll focus on introducing our Ventus Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) solutions to large hospitals and health systems, helping healthcare organisations improve financial performance, streamline administrative processes, and optimise revenue cycle operations.

Working with some of the largest healthcare providers in the US, you’ll build relationships with senior decision-makers, develop a strong pipeline of new business, and take ownership of opportunities from initial engagement through to contract close.

This is a net-new business development role suited to someone who enjoys the challenge of opening doors, building credibility with executive stakeholders, and turning opportunities into long-term customer partnerships.

What You'll Do

  • Win new business: Identify, develop, and close new customer opportunities across large US hospitals and health systems, driving revenue growth and new customer acquisition.
  • Build executive relationships: Establish trusted relationships with C-suite leaders and senior stakeholders, including CFOs, CIOs, and Revenue Cycle, Health Information Management (HIM), and Patient Financial Services executives.
  • Own the sales cycle: Lead opportunities from prospecting and discovery through solution positioning, demonstrations, commercial negotiations, and contract execution.
  • Develop your pipeline: Create and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities through strategic prospecting, networking, industry engagement, and relationship building.
  • Sell solutions that make a difference: Demonstrate how Ventus solutions can help healthcare providers improve coding efficiency, contract management, financial visibility, and revenue cycle performance.
  • Expand our market presence: Identify opportunities within the Oracle Health (formerly Cerner) customer base, while pursuing new business across Epic, MEDITECH, and other healthcare technology environments.
  • Collaborate to win: Partner with internal sales, product, technical, and delivery teams to develop compelling proposals and tailored solutions that address customer needs.
  • Deliver results: Manage sales forecasts, maintain accurate CRM records, and consistently work towards agreed revenue and bookings targets.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a commercially driven sales professional who understands enterprise selling, enjoys building relationships from the ground up, and can navigate complex healthcare organisations.

Essential experience

  • 5+ years of enterprise technology sales experience, ideally within healthcare, health IT, or SaaS.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a quota-carrying individual contributor role.
  • Demonstrated success winning new customers and developing opportunities within large organisations.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, senior decision-makers, and commercial negotiations.
  • Confidence engaging with executive-level stakeholders and communicating the business value of technology solutions.
  • Strong prospecting, pipeline development, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • A self-motivated, results-oriented approach with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Highly desirable

  • Experience selling Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), medical coding, revenue integrity, contract management, claims management, or related healthcare solutions.
  • Established relationships within US hospitals, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Academic Medical Centers, or large health systems.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Health/Cerner, Epic, or MEDITECH environments.
  • Experience selling enterprise solutions to healthcare organisations with more than $1 billion in annual revenue.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline.

About Ventus

Our portfolio includes:

  • Ventus Contract Management (VCM): Supports healthcare contract management.
  • Ventus Contract Analysis (VCA): Supports contract analysis and financial insight.

You'll help healthcare providers understand the value of these solutions and how they can support their operational and financial goals.

Working Arrangements

  • Location: Remote, United States.
  • Travel: Up to 20% for customer meetings, industry events, and business development activities.
  • Schedule: Standard business hours, with flexibility to accommodate customer needs and key sales periods.

Compensation

Base salary: $80,000–$120,000 USD, plus commission.

This role offers a base salary and commission structure, with total compensation dependent on individual performance and achievement of sales targets.

The final offer will depend on relevant experience, skills, internal equity, market data, and applicable location-based pay requirements.
